Duals has been an avid writer almost as many years as he has been able to read. His mother would read to him as a baby and then at the age of two and a half he began reading the books back to her, although his mother pointed out to him he wasn't actually reading because the book was upside down and he was just reciting off memory. Not long after though at the age of three he began his real love of actually reading, and then only a couple years later began journaling. At the age of five is when he really began writing poems, short stories, and then later songs, film scripts, and video game storylines. After several traumatic events as a child, Duals developed a kinship for blending the make-believe and the real world and a deeper appreciation for art.
