Honest As A Whore

from How Anarchy Got Her Groove Back by No Influence

lyrics

Sometimes in life you open your eyes, and sometimes you don’t
And sometimes I don’t know if I’m talking about my own eyes or that wisdom of the third eye
Everyone gets that sinking feeling deep in their throat at one time, or another story
Excuse my choked up tears you say to the staring stranger aside, should I dye my dead kitty cat, I wonder
Reminds me of that time I took too many drugs and woke up drowning in my vomit
Makes sense I never wear floaties nor a raincoat
I don’t wanna hide from the high, I wanna touch Goddess
Exactly how much am I allowed to tell my psychiatrist before they send me with the bickering blue jays and cardinals who really can fly over the cuckoo’s nest
Makes sense cus if a human isn’t crippled than they surely bleed
But surely we can do incredible things, as Dose said “these birds have the minds of very small rocks
And we plenty big enough brains” however in that sentence must I mention
Always opposed to our own opposables, not thumbs nor enemies
But distance from nature and point of no return is society
Plus I still Always speak in superlatives…

When I was young I would rather opt to not, jerking to pornographics but rather
The fact my mother was in the room and I can get caught
Caught me saying something stupidly (w)Horishly Honest
But honestly Art fuckin inspires me
Rather waste my life on this than a burning society
All in all, still ‘rising against’ til’ this new Babylon falls
And the band is called, if you can call it a band, No Influence
For all of us who won't be etched in history, but still exist
So still we climb
We fight for our little one percent against those that hold the 99
Ironic cus every song I write, is about Death and saving the World
Here we never evanescence
Always The revival of the Situationist Internationalist…
